Organic food is one of the most popular of all trends recently appears to be health or improved health, so it’s not a shock once people look to shop for organic food in an effort at redirecting their lives. There is lot of discussion concerning whether or not you should purchase organic food. Is it definitely worth the price Where is the best place to shop for it Is the quality all the same? All these questions and more come to mind once you have chosen to move from conventional food to organic food.
The price of organic food is become an obstacle for many people. There are several reasons why organic foods are more expensive, and the first of them refers to the relationship demand and offer. Conventionally grown foods in industrial farms is done by using chemical fertilizers and pesticides to expand production.
On the other hand, organic foods are grown in small farms without using chemicals. Non-chemical methods are used to protect crops from pests and diseases but also are more expensive. Conventionally grown food has a great infrastructure and a developed distribution system, and the costs of selling products on the market are very low while many small organic farms rely on local markets.
The question that organic buyers have to ask themselves when considering what price have to pay for organic foods is not necessarily how much it may cost a pepper or tomato, but how much would cost all this for health if they are grown with chemicals? What is the cost that have to withstand when your body breaks down? And the effect on the environment after a continuous use of pesticides and fertilizers? All these costs should be taken into consideration when someone decides he wants to lead a healthy lifestyle by eating only organic buyers .
